“Angel Wings” Requirements
- Volunteer opportunities are offered consistent with Joni’s Angels Programs.
- High School students 14 – 18 years of age are invited to apply for quarterly trainings.
- Applicants must submit completed “Angels Wings” Volunteer Application to the Joni’s Angels-Volunteer Coordinator prior to attending scheduled training.
- 2-step TB test is required by the hospital to volunteer with pediatric patients. Student receives TB test which is read within 48 hours. Two weeks later, student receives 2nd TB test, which is again read within 48 hours.
- Hospital & pediatric orientation and security registration will be conducted by Volunteer Coordinator with student volunteer.
- Volunteer schedule sign-ups will be available to the student following compliance with all requirements.
